Sweet + Spicy Fried Potatoes (Air-Fryer Recipe)

2 cups sweet potato, peeled and chopped

2 cups russet or yellow potato, peeled and chopped

1 tbs extra-virgin olive oil

1 tbs maple syrup

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

1/2-3/4 tsp himalayan salt, depending on your preference


Step 1 - Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and toss until oil and spices are coating all of the potato chunks evenly

Step 2 - Set your air-fryer to 375 degrees and cook for 20 minutes. Remove air-fryer basket and shake 2-3 times during cooking process to ensure a consistent outcome.

Step 3 - Allow to cool for five minutes prior to serving. Serve on top of a salad as imaged, as a side for a savory breakfast with ketchup, or enjoy by themselves.
